Custom Cards

If you are planning on sending photo holiday cards this year, now's the time to start!  Deadlines to order custom holiday cards will be November 28th.  I still have a few weekday sessions available so if you haven't already called to secure your date, please do so immediately as spaces will book up fast during the last minute rush.  Besides holiday cards, I can also custom design birth announcements, invitations, senior 411 cards, etc.  Prices are $50 for 24 flat cards and $75 for 24 folded cards.  Sizes can be 5x5 or 5x7.  Please keep in mind that 5x5 envelopes will incur extra postage charges.

A Dose Of Happy

I don't know about you, but being around animals really feeds my soul.  It makes me happy.  So, needless to say, I was super excited to be shooting a different type of client today....a group of horses on the most magnificent property in Norwell; Watershed Farm.  It was not the warmest of fall days but the owner and staff were welcoming and warm hearted.  It was a wonderful experience!  Here are some of my favorite shots of the day.

Thank heaven for little girls!

I met this little cutie at my gym.  She and my son have a crush on each other.  It's so cute it makes my heart hurt.  Literally.  I thought it would be fun to do a shoot and a little shopping (boys clothes are soooo boring!) and went a little crazy with it; 5 outfits, 3 pair of shoes...I could have shopped all day. Lil Miss and her mom to come over today to try it all out.  I LOVED this outfit.  It was so timeless looking and just new it would pair up well with a number of my props.  Anyway, we had fun and she absolutely loved the carriage.  I mean, what little girl wouldn't?!

Channeling Dorothy

What a day!  It was absolutely beautiful and I topped it off with an afternoon spent with a great family just outside of Boston.  I did a shoot with them back in April and they had me back to get some shots for the holiday.  There are so many great images and I've only just started going thru them!  I am so exhausted that I can't find the energy to post more as a sneak peak but just HAD to post this.  It's precious. I love it.  Totally random shot but sometimes those are the best :-)  Promise--more will be up tomorrow!!

Outdoor Sessions

Just a little reminder that all outdoor sessions will be ending on November 1st.  I do have availability so if you still need to book your holiday session, please shoot me an email and we'll get you set up!  It was very chilly and windy yesterday but while I was out on a walk with my son, I decided to snap some photos along the way.  Enjoy!

Calling All "Mama-preneurs"!

I, too, am a mother who decided I had to follow my heart and do what I was most passionate about--photography!  I think it's really important to support other women who are in the same situation so with that said I would love to showcase a local mom and her other baby--her business--on a monthly basis.  Whether you're just starting out or successfully a few years in, let's share your story.

Luv Bug

That's what I call my son...among many other adoring-mother-nicknames.  We headed out this afternoon to check on the tide, let the dog out, climb up and down the stairs, smell the flowers, play peek-a-boo behind the trees, etc.  I really wanted to get some shots of him in this Gap Kids corduroy hat but the past couple of days he refused to put it on.  But in his own time, he decided to surprise me and put it on.  Well, I could hardly stand how cute he looked in it and he felt pretty proud when he saw my reaction.  So while we were outside I snapped some shots.  Here are my fav's.

I had to also share this shot of one of our hydrangea bushes.  Their color is absolutely amazing right now!  They started blue and purple this summer, and then slowly started turning sage green and purple and now they are coming into the pinks and mauves shades.  Can you stay stunning?

Just another pretty weed.

Yes, it's a weed but isn't it purdy? :-)  I've been wanting to shoot one with a macro lens all summer and knew I'd better get out there today and photograph this one once I noticed it in our yard on my way back from running errands.  It's not as macro as I had hoped but my lens just wasn't cuttin' it.  Anyway, just thought I'd share it with all of you!

Meet Monty

At the end our first day of shooting in Alstead, we stopped by Flying Cloud Farm to say hello to a beautiful boy.  Meet Monty.  I'm not sure he gets many visitors so when the 5 of us got out of the car and started oooh-ing and ahhhh-ing he got so happy--kicking, jumping and running.  He was beside himself with joy to have some company and gave us quite the show.
